Atlanta High School Dance Marathon Programs Set High Standards

This past weekend, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta wrapped up the 2020 High School Dance Marathon season. In recent years, hundreds of high schools across the country have begun to join the college and universities dedicated to the Dance Marathon movement. Atlanta is grateful to have over ten actively fundraising high school partners. These schools have worked tirelessly over the past several months to raise funds and awareness for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

At each program, you will find creative fundraising strategies that are unique to each school. Brookwood High School transforms their Freshman hallway into a ticketed haunted house in October, while Buford High School successfully hosted their inaugural Cookies & Cocoa 5k in January.

Regardless of what each school’s year round fundraising looks like, all students will celebrate their efforts at a Dance Marathon, a high energy entertainment event to celebrate the patients and families at Children’s. This past Dance Marathon season, high school partners raised over $100,000 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta! Thank you, Atlanta High School Dance Marathon programs!
