Children’s Celebrates 5th Annual Cape Day

On Friday, October 18th, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta held the fifth annual Cape Day to honor our patients–the real superheroes. While some superheroes battle scary villains, our patients battle something much scarier–illness and injuries that many of us could never imagine. So on Friday, the Atlanta community came together donning capes of all sizes and colors.

New this year, everyone was asked to be someone’s superhero by doing a good deed in the community in honor of our patients whether it was buying coffee for the person behind you in line, giving flowers to a friend or writing a note of thanks. Together, we all helped to show our superhero patients how they inspire us each day.
