Meet Ace Shootout Team Basketball

This is the second in a series of four posts featuring each celebrity team playing in the 2017 Ace Shootout premiering on March 27, 5:00 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Julius “Dr. J” Erving is no stranger to the Ace Shootout, but this year he is joined by fellow NBA star, Cliff Levingston.

Julius Erving is an 11-time All-Star and was named one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players in History. He’s an NBA MVP and was also a member of the 1983 Philadelphia 76ers’ championship team. Julius is playing for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Cliff Levingston is a two-time NBA Champion with the ’91 and ’92 Chicago Bulls. He also played for the Pistons, Hawks and Nuggets. He is playing for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
