UGA Miracle Raises $248,882.25 in 26.2 Hours

This past Thursday, the University of Georgia’s Dance Marathon program, UGA Miracle, challenged their campus to dedicate 26.2 hours to raising money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This annual Fall semester fundraising event is known as Beyond Limits, representing UGA Miracle’s commitment to do whatever it takes to support the patients and families at Children’s. This year, students were asked to raise a total of $128, representing the 28 beds on the Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (CIRU) at Children’s. The CIRU is one of the largest units of its kind in the Southeast. $1 million of UGA Miracle’s final total is dedicated to Children’s Rehabilitation Services, of which the CIRU is a part of.

Despite the countless obstacles present throughout a year filled with uncertainty and zoom classes, the students of UGA Miracle banded together to raise an incredible $248,882.25 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Children’s is so grateful for this inspiring partnership. Thank you, UGA Miracle, for all you do!
