Kidney transplant survivor Angelica Hale gets the "Golden Buzzer" on America's Got Talent

For being so small, Angelica Hale has a big voice. Singing since she was just 5-years-old, Angelica’s dream is to become the next Whitney Houston. Thanks to the judges on America’s Got Talent, Angelica is one step closer to that dream.

Angelica made quite the impression on the judges during her audition round when she sang “Rise Up” in June:

Angelica’s Tuesday night performance of Alicia Keys’ hit “Girl On Fire,” earned her the “Golden Buzzer” from the judges, which sends her straight through to live rounds.

Angelica has come a long way in pursuit of her dream. At age 5, a severe case of pneumonia ravaged Angelica’s organs, requiring her to receive a life-saving kidney transplant at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Thanks to the support of her children’s hospital, Angelica is now taking her talent for singing to the small screen.

You can catch Angelica on AGT every Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
