Save the Day & Save the Date: Cape Day is Coming!
This heroic tradition is returning to Atlanta for the 10th year! Mark your calendars for the 2023 Cape Day, October 20th. This is a day to celebrate and recognize the more than 400,000 patients Children’s treats annually, who are fighting battles with superhero strength. Every day, our patients overcome healthcare obstacles and face challenges that most of us could never imagine. We wear a cape in honor of them. If you are reading this, chances are that you know someone you can wear a cape for and honor this year. Children’s is encouraging its patients and employees, as well as schools, organizations, and communities across Georgia to wear a cape on Friday, October 20, for Cape Day 2023.
Here’s how to make the most of your Cape Day:
- Plan special fundraisers in honor of Cape Day – invite friends, family, fellow employees, and others to take part. Reach out to your local CMN contact for support!
- Wear a cape (any cape!) on Cape Day to show your support of our patients at Children’s
- Post your Cape Day photos on social media on Friday, October 20 to show your support for our superhero patients and use the hashtag #CapeDayATL and tag us on Instagram @cmn_atl
