Children’s Hosts First Ever Miracle Family Reunion 

Each year, 3-4 families are selected to champion Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta by sharing their inspirational, and even miraculous, stories of overcoming injuries and illnesses. Once selected, these “Miracle Families” drive hundreds of miles, attend countless events, and visit with many CMN Partners to help Children’s share our gratitude with those who support us steadfastly. 

This year, the Children’s Miracle Network team set out to let our families know that once they are a Miracle Family, they are always a Miracle Family. An invitation was extended to families who have championed Children’s the last 8 years to attend an Inaugural Reunion at a very special venue, the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Hangar at Dekalb Peachtree Airport. 

The Reunion was a huge hit, thanks mainly to the Children’s Transport Team, who not only agreed to host the event at the Hangar, but also had a Children’s Transport Unit and helicopter on site for guests to explore! It was a great night filled with making new memories and reflecting on old ones. Thank you to both our Miracle Families and the Children’s Transport Team for all they do for their community!
