Credit Unions For Kids Chapter Meeting
The Credit Unions For Kids Chapter Meeting was held at Park Tavern’s Piedmont Room in Atlanta on Tuesday, August 23rd. This event had not taken place in-person since 2019, and attendance was back and higher than ever! The night began with games and mingling, and then our CMN team kicked off the night by presenting the impact and details our partnership with Credit Unions, as well as sharing some exciting details about the new Arthur M. Blank Hospital.
After food and more socializing, various credit unions had donated silent and live auction items to raise money and create a fun atmosphere for the night. One of our generous and thoughtful committee members decided to bid on a JBL Bluetooth speaker and won! She ended up giving the prize to Mary Webb, one of our 2022 Miracle Kids, who had to come to the event to share her story. Seeing Mary’s face light up with gratitude and shock was one of the best parts of the evening! It is such an exciting, heartfelt feeling seeing our Miracle Kids create lasting bonds with our committee members and corporate partners!
