Historic $20 Million Gift from the Peach Bowl to Children’s

Just last week, the Peach Bowl Inc, which owns and operates the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl , announced a historic $20 million gift to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Created to honor the memory of former patient Anna Charles “AC” Hollis and carry on her fight, the Peach Bowl LegACy Fund will be hyper-focused on funding clinical drug trials for new drugs and treatment options for children fighting cancer. The donation is one of the largest-ever single donations to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Nearly 16,000 children in the US are diagnosed with pediatric cancer each year and 488 new cases of pediatric cancer were diagnosed just at Children’s in 2018. Right now, only 4% of the National Institutes of Health’s cancer research funding goes to pediatric cancer research. Join in now to do your part by supporting Touchdowns for Children’s. The Peach Bowl will match every dollar raised by fans through pledges and donations throughout the entire football season. Learn more at www.choa.org/t4c
