Ace Hardware Regional Meeting at the Mission Center

Last week, the CMN team hosted 19 Ace Hardware representatives at our Mission Center where we recognized the top fundraising stores for their generous efforts and discussed best practices to implement in their stores.

We started off the morning with a presentation that explained that their support to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta benefits our “greatest need.” That can mean anything from $35 for Lidocaine to numb a site before an injection to $1,500 to support a cancer survivor’s testing for psychological, mental, and physical late effects.

That was a perfect transition to introduce one of our 2023 Miracle Kids, Locklyn McFarlin, and her mother, Lindy. It was clear Locklyn’s story touched each person in the room, as you could see tears in their eyes.

We finished off the afternoon with lunch where everyone mingled, and Locklyn gave every single person a goodbye hug and a high-five before leaving. Click HERE to read more about Locklyn and her story, or head over to our Instagram (@cmnatlhospitals) to watch the video.

The total amount raised by Ace Hardware in 2022 is $386,425.63 with an 8.4% YOY increase from 2021!

Here are the top five fundraising retailers:

  • Intown Ace: $61,907
  • Gainesville RSC: $55,455
  • S&S Ace Buford: $44,775
  • S&S Ace Braselton: $23,772
  • Ace Hardware Crabapple: $17,069

Congratulations to Ace Hardware for all their hard work! We are so grateful for your partnership, and we look forward to an exciting year ahead of us.
