Congratulations to Our CMN Local Champion, Mary Webb!

On Friday, April 21, we surprised our 2022 Miracle Child, Mary Webb, as we presented her with an additional new title: our 2023 CMN Atlanta Local Champion. There are three pieces of criteria when Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta chooses their annual local champion. They must be passionate ambassadors, a dedicated advocate for Children’s, and a glowing representative in the Atlanta community. Mary demonstrates all of these things and more. With her consistent involvement as a 2022 Miracle Child, and her high involvement in UGA Miracle, “Mighty Mary” (as her friends and family call her) champions for Children’s in such a passionate and unique way. She has turned her tough and scary health journey into a narrative of hope, resilience, and contagious positivity.

To join in on Friday’s Local Champion celebration, we invited three of Mary’s UGA Miracle friends to surprise her at Crumbl Cookie. Mary arrived with her parents, and we presented her with her Local Champion medal.
