Panda Express celebrates the Lunar New Year this month!
Celebrate Lunar New Year and the Year of the Rat at Panda Express on Saturday, January 25th. Stop in to feast with family and friends as we welcome in the new lunar year!
Just like many other holidays, Lunar New Year is about coming together around a meal. Many of the food items present at these celebrations symbolize certain aspects of good fortune. To ensure you receive your good fortune, stop in to any Atlanta area Panda Express to enjoy egg rolls for wealth, long chow mein noodles for a long life, and shrimp for happiness.
Another Lunar New Year tradition is the giving of the red envelopes, which symbolizes good luck. Each of these envelopes contain monetary gifts for children and unmarried adults.
You can make your own red envelope donation to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at the register of any Panda Express. Each donation received will help local patients, like Hampton, who received care from Children’s for a congenital heart defect. Through the help of your donations and support, Hampton now is able to play soccer, and participate in many other of his favorite activities!
In 2019, Panda Express employees and customers donated more than $521,000 to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta helping children all around the state of Georgia. Thank you, Panda Express!
