Partner Spotlight: Great Clips

Great Clips has been a CMN partner since 2004 and has raised over $9 million for CMN hospitals. This year, CMN’s Great Clips campaign will take place during the entire month of October. During that time, stylists can ask for donations from customers, and in return, customers will receive a $2 coupon to use at their next visit. Just last year, in 2022, Atlanta market Great Clips raised $58,945.54. This was a 62% increase from 2021!

Atlanta market Great Clips have a special edge to their partnership because, in addition to fundraising for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, stylists also use their skills and talents to fulfill patient haircut requests throughout the year. Stylists take time out of their work day or weekend to visit both Scottish Rite and Egleston locations, and with guidance from volunteer services and child life specialists, they visit patient rooms to either clean, style, or cut patients’ hair. As one can imagine, these encounters can be intimate and emotional. We are grateful that Great Clips is able to fulfill a big need for our patients, and, in return, they get to experience personal interactions with the children they are both fundraising and fighting for.
